Re: Easy Automated Raspbian Image for using G27 as G29 with USB
I've tried lot of cables, all works fine in PC, all fails in the same way with the Pi3. I've a 8Gb SD Card where I installed Raspbian, GIMX and VNC Server to get access. That’s all. I’ve another 32Gb SD card with Retropie. Have you tried a firmware update on your RPi 3 Raspbian? That was the first ...

Re: Easy Automated Raspbian Image for using G27 as G29 with USB
So, bad news for me because if you are running Pi3 without problems, nothings gives me a guarantee about PI2… maybe some cable or the DIY itself is wrong. But it¡s strange because, as I said, using a PC everything is fine. I hope to receive it this week. I’ll comment the result. Thanks for the info...

Re: Easy Automated Raspbian Image for using G27 as G29 with USB
Wait, wait, wait, are you meaning you have a RPI3 and GIMX is working properly?? I got to set up everything and PS4 recognized the G27, but after a few minutes playing any game the G27’s led starts blinking and I get a LIBUSB_TIMEOUT_ERROR in GIMX. So I have to restart the PI. If it works for 1 or ...

Re: Easy Automated Raspbian Image for using G27 as G29 with USB
Hi there once again. I've bought a second hand Pi2 and I'll try the images with it. Thanks for the last one. Hope to be luckier than with the Pi3, it never worked as I mentioned in my posts. Regards I've been meaning to put up a RPi 3 automated GIMX setup video. I have a bunch of footage I took whi...

Re: Raspberry Pi power via PS4 usb port + screen capture foo
I got my RPi 3 in the mail today. I was able to load Raspbian on an sd and update it through the RPi, load GIMX, and create the GUI run automation file in a little under an hour. I didn't have much time to actually use the setup, but it starts up and is ready to go in like 10 seconds now. It doesn't...

Re: Raspberry Pi power via PS4 usb port + screen capture foo
I finally got my hands on a USB ampmeter. The one I picked up can read voltage, amperage, and also keeps a record of accumulated amperage. The first trial I ran I connected the amp meter directly inline with the USB port on the PS4. It read slightly over 5 volts and had amp readings from ~540ma to s...

Rudi,
Another great addition to one of the best GIMX setups I've seen so far. I'm going to have to try this one out. To clarify from your picture, Pins 12 and 14 are connected to the shutdown button..?
Thanks

Rudi made a more detailed post of his setup here (http://gimx.fr/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=1687)
I would advocate that you check it out if you want a more streamlines approach to your GIMX setup.
