Re: Arduino only-based adapter (no PC needed)

Thijs, what if the connection was just re-initialized and not dropped at any point? i have no idea if that would be possible, but just an idea :) Also cloning controllers could maybe work. also, would it be piracy? i mean its not like you're selling controllers, but mere making yours talk to the ps4...

Re: Arduino only-based adapter (no PC needed)

Thijs, after finding the link below. i thought that maybe, we could bypass the auth by dropping the connection, for a very short time every 8 minutes or so. again its just a thought, that might not be plausible irl. https://cronusmax.com/forums/showthread.php/147018-New-Feature-PS4-Cross-Over-Authen...

Re: Arduino only-based adapter (no PC needed)

This one has got 2 usb Hosts though. but i guess that it wouldnt be enough as you'd for the time being, need 3 ports, one as device and 2 as hosts for the ds4 and wheel/or whatever. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/STM32F4Discovery-STM32F407VGT6-ARM-Cortex-M4-32bit-MCU-Core-Development-Board/32757449...

Re: Arduino only-based adapter (no PC needed)

Must have been me then xD
if the hori pad works, what is the reason for tinkering further?
does it auth in another way, if even at all?

would it really violate the (copy)rights, to send some data that looks like a controller... hmm bugger.
