Re: [Config][Request]Logitech Formula Force EX
This could be a hint to my issue: http://up.picr.de/30706642tv.png Where could those "change wheel range commands" come? I can still only use the middle range of my wheel. And today I had to set the permissions again via "sudo chmod 666 /dev/uhid " to access my wheel via GIMX. Re...

Re: Request: Logitech Formula Force EX
In fact, in GTSport there is no setup for the wheel beside the button assignment.
As I found here, the automatic calibration on game start could be an issue for GIMX users:

Re: Request: Logitech Formula Force EX
Sorry for pushing this topic but I'm looking forward to a fantastic GTSport weekend.
How can I configure my wheel to use the entire wheel rotation range (200 degree as I guess)?

Re: Request: Logitech Formula Force EX
Is there a way to calibrate the wheel rotation automatially or manually?
ATM I can only use the middle 20 degree but the wheel has at least 200 degree.

Re: Request: Logitech Formula Force EX
Strange thing:
My Logitech Formula Force Ex is detected as "RX"-Version.
Maybe Logitech messed something up in the factory. Wrong chipset firmware.
Here ist the configuration that works:

Re: Permission issues on RPi
After tweaking my configuration (my "EX" wheel was detected as "RX"), I can say that everything works like a charm.
Not sure why "chmod 666 /dev/uhid" changed anything because I did it yesterday already.
Thanks for your great support and GIMX.

Re: Permission issues on RPi
We are getting closer: pi@raspberrypi:~ $ sudo systemctl stop gimx pi@raspberrypi:~ $ gimx-launcher xterm: cannot load font '-misc-fixed-medium-r-semicondensed--13-120-75-75-c-60-i so10646-1' xterm: cannot load font '-misc-fixed-medium-r-semicondensed--13-120-75-75-c-60-i so10646-1' native mode is a...

Re: Permission issues on RPi
Sounds plausible.
I would prefer to disable autostart of GIMX.
Is that's the right way to do?

Re: Request: Logitech Formula Force EX
Thanks for that hint. Thats the reason why I was able find the LogitechDrivingForceEx_G29.xml on my RPi but not on my PC. So, I've created the LogitechFormulaForceEx_G29.xml (see link to file above) according to your advise by replacing the device name. Looking forward to test this config as soon as...

Re: Permission issues on RPi
Could this be another instance of GIMX? For example, if I start GIMX according to the tutorial automatically at boot and also via SSH (to get the UI via Putty)? And could this be the reason for the freeze when I try to auto-detect the device in the configuration editor? What I can help to simplify y...
