Re: GIMX 1.00
Driving mode for the win! :D Thanks so much for doing this. I had intended to but other projects got a hold of me and I just never got around to it. Can't wait to try it out! Should fork great on BF3 for driving, flying, mortars, etc etc etc. I still like your idea about naming this 'joystick mode' ...

Re: Windows + Bluetooth?
I know from a drivers standpoint.. XP is such a pain. After Win98 it seemed they locked everything down and it makes it hard to use various drivers/ports.

Windows + Bluetooth?
This may have been discussed before but I can't see any thread. Is there a reason GIMX doesn't support bluetooth and Windows XP?
Thanks,
Thanks,

Right.. I should have posted this from the get-go. Sorry. I'm using the suggested, Cubix V2.1+EDR Bluetooth adapter (http://www.dealextreme.com/p/msi-tiny-bluetooth-v2-1-edr-adapter-dongle-vista-compatible-11825) Cambridge Silicon Radio (10) BlueCore4-ROM Ubuntu 11.10 gimx-bluetooth 0.25 built from ...

Same here. PS3 fires up but nothing after that. But an occational keypress gets recognized like 0.001% of the time.

Re: Axis orientation?
Right .. that makes sense since when you stop moving the mouse the value becomes (0,0) which is the center. What doesn't make sense to me is why you get (+) values for X no matter what direction you move the mouse. If 0 is the center shouln't the values be (-) as you move to the left and (+) as you ...

Axis orientation?
Ok so I fire up gimx-bluetooth and the emuclient, dumping the output to the console. I can see when I move the mouse the axis values change. But one thing I found interesting is that the X value only shows positive values. Not only that, but it seems to track with the summation of mouse movement ins...

Re: Documentation on various parameters?
AH ok. I think what confused me was that there appears to have been a name change in the parameters themselves.. but the code wasn't updated to refelect this. I.E. Exponent became Acceleration, Multiplier became Sensativity.. etc. Or maybe vice-versa. http://www.onecircuit.com/sites/onecircuit.com/f...

Documentation on various parameters?
Just installed GIMX.. got my dongle all configured.. all set to go but holy cow there are a lot of parameters here.
Aside from digging into the code and looking at the algorithms, is there documentation somewhere that describes what these parameters do or how they affect the controller settings?

Re: Compile error: SDL.h
Not only is libusb-dev needed, but libusb-1.0-0-dev is needed as well.
