Yes, you can borrow a controller from a friend.
If the dongle address is persistent you'll only need once.

Wiring looks correct (TX to D2, RX to D3).

Were did you download the firmware? Please post the link.

Could you please install GIMX 6.9 (including UsbDk), open a cmd terminal, and type (copy-paste) the following commands:

Code: Select all

cd C:\Program Files\UsbDk Runtime Library
UsbDkController.exe -n
and then post the output?

Hi,

Pairing looks incorrect. Source and target addresses are the same.
What's the output of sixaddr typed in a terminal? (with the sixaxis plugged in)
