Re: PS 4 - Controller Authentication

@billy.joe Iam trying to find out why the Hori Pad FPS4 behaves different to a Sony DS4 controller. - First of all, the Hori controllers does not use CRC's in the 0xF2 and 0xF1's replies. they are left blank 00 00 00 00 - The Hori controller seems to accept 0xF0's without a valid CRC. The DS4 bails ...

Re: Arduino only-based adapter (no PC needed)

It was a HUB from years ago left on the shelf: I think you can google it with 'Cute USB Mini 2-Port' currently i am using a Sitecom CN-050 USB HUB but many HUBs will do the trick. P.S. Another banggood HUB did not work for me and the sitecom requires controller in PORT1, wheel in PORT2. Although, i ...

Re: Arduino only-based adapter (no PC needed)

Thank you Mysli0210, That link you gave me was quite useful, but i already found it by another URL, almost identical information. What bothered me is why the Hori FPS pad4 did not work as Authentication device I made a special USB cable and sniffed on the D- and D+ lines, parsed the signals and made...

Re: Arduino only-based adapter (no PC needed)

I never mentioned that imo. But if i did, i wouldnt put in on github ;) i want to make it to work with my 2nd hand hori pad fps4 controller as well, but its a bit diffetent to the sony controller (however it works when you connect it straight to the ps4 so something to find out. Making it work witho...

Re: Arduino only-based adapter (no PC needed)

I've put the sources here.

https://github.com/mathijsvandenberg/g29emu

Disclaimer: this has nothing to do with GIMX. It is using parts of GIMX sources, but is not and will not be compatible with GIMX.
Disclaimer2: This is a work in progress.

Re: Arduino only-based adapter (no PC needed)

Of course, Today i tested the hardware for some serious laps and noticed sometimes the forcefeedback doesnt reset (e.g. When restart timed lap) I'll check if all packets arrive for debug. Also want to do a latency test to obtain lowest time possible. Currently iam passing the packets from the wheel ...

Re: Arduino only-based adapter (no PC needed)

Well i have to check the sources a couple of time to make sure all the gpl, mit, etc licenses are not violating with each other (why did i thought using libraries make it simpler?!). I'll put it somewhere on a github. It will get a non-gimx related name, as its not using the gimx software on pc. Link...

Re: Arduino only-based adapter (no PC needed)

I've sent matlo a message with access to the code, so he can check it. I dont want any legal issues about re using code, so it is up to him ;)

Re: Arduino only-based adapter (no PC needed)

This mini USB host module is like you said only 3.3V compatible. Therefore you need extra hardware to protect the input's of the MAX3421E. A 74HC245 will do, or perhaps a resistor divider on each CLK,MOSI,CS pin. The Arduino pro micro's that i have are 5V/16MHz. When you run them at 3.3V, only 8MHz ...

Re: Arduino only-based adapter (no PC needed)

Yes, i got both the pro micro and this usb shield as well. They are the same, but smaller package than the picture in my first post. They should be pin compatible, however, they dont seem to be stackable quite easilly. Perhaps i'll design a PCB for it using both those two devices. https://i.ibb.co/Z...
