Re: Simultaneous Physical and Network input

I realized that it actually works, the --src argument has to be placed before the -p one:

Code: Select all

gimx -c Dualshock4.xml --src 127.0.0.1:51914 -p /dev/ttyUSB0 --status --nograb --force-updates --subpos

Re: Blue Screening

This is a known issue that will be fixed in a next GIMX version.

Try killing lghub.exe and lghub_agent.exe.

Re: Couple of questions due to the DIY USB Adapter Guide

Topic moved to discussion section. Yes, the CP2102 should work fine, but I would advise buying a CP2104 which can transmit at higher speed. And yes, the only thing to do is to connect both parts. To avoid issues, either get a Teensy 2.0 with pins, or solder wires. Your wheel is a Logitech Driving Fo...

Re: Simultaneous Physical and Network input

Scripting is currently supported by the macro feature (which has some limitations).

I'll see if I can make it work, but it won't be a priority if it turns out to be complex.

Re: Fanatec CSR Elite Raspberry Pi

It seems that your only option is to use another button for the PS button. It can be a button from another device, for example the PS button of the Dualshock 4.

Re: Fanatec CSR Elite Raspberry Pi

PC mode is native Fanatec mode. FFB wheel support on Linux is very sparse, and your wheel is very likely not supported.

PS3 mode is "G25 mode". The G25 has FFB support on Linux.

If you have button mapping issues, then use gimx-config to change mappings.

Re: Simultaneous Physical and Network input

Describing a use case is more like "I want to have device and network inputs at the same time to have the possibility to [do somehing in Python] while [doing another thing with the Dualshock 4]".

Re: Fanatec CSR Elite Raspberry Pi

Did you press the PS button? In your configuration you have right button mapped to PS. You may want to try the following configuration instead: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <root> <controller id="1" dpi="0" type="G29 PS4"> <configuration id="1"> <trigger type="" id="" name="" button_id="" ...
