Where did you bought this dongle?
I think this is a poor quality dongle, probably a CSR counterfeit.

Don't buy ebay/dealextreme dongles.
Try one from a local store!

Yes, it's possible to get a sixaxis working with GIMX, you have to use QtSixa(Linux) or MotionInJoy (Windows).

Check the second config.

You have to define the same control (in most cases l2) for the right mouse button in both configs 1 & 2.

Hm, Im confus. So in the calibration GUI x/y ratio of 1 = 2.86? Because to me 1.4 gives the "feel" of higher vertical sensitivity. Then again, it may all just be placebo.
