Re: Logitech G700 not showing up in calibration

That's perfectly normal. Device names are only needed when using multiple mice or keyboards (you want to make sure in Gimx-config, editing your config, that Advanced > Multiple Mice and Keyboards is turned off)

Are you having any other problems except the name not showing in calibration?

Re: Mouse calibration

Indeed ;)
And make sure to set the game sensitivity to it's max as well if you haven't.
It is the primary culprit of slow aim, before mouse DPI and sensitivity in GIMX.

Re: Mouse not calibrating

Issue 86

Output in the calibration GUI (under Ubuntu, not Windows) is disabled when calibrating because in earlier versions of GIMX it would cause lag and stutter when calibrating.

Changes to values should affect the aim while calibrating though, and stick when saving. Is this not the case?

Re: GIMX 0.30

I've had no new bugs show up so far. Pretty easy to downgrade should you encounter any.
(I've been using another experimental 360 firmware though and not the 0.30 one so I can only speak on behalf of GIMX 0.30 + FW 0.23 combo)

Re: Running Linux off a disc?

Yes, you can run Ubuntu from a CD/DVD but you'd have to configure it, install GIMX etc. each time you'd wanna use it. The best solution to use Ubuntu without having to install it permanently on your computer is getting a cheap 8-16 GB USB Flash drive and installing it on that. There's loads of tutor...

Re: sdl initialised. A device name is empty.

That is a normal message. It's just to let you know that the config you're using is not made for multiple mice and keyboards as their names need to be specified in the config. Are you experiencing any problems though, or did that message only worry you?

Re: Force Update Help.

Some games like Duke Nukem Forever requires constant information about certain events coming from the controller, so what Force Update do, if I recall correctly, is exactly that, force sending of updates of events - axis values, button states, whatnot. In most cases you don't need it. The only games...

Re: Soldering a usb cable onto a teensy?

I'm sure the Serial Converter has a function other than being a physical USB connection. Otherwise you'd just use some sort of pin adapter and Matlo would have soldered USB cables directly to the Teensy from the get-go in the tutorials.
