Sounds Good Matlo,
In the meantime, I have been playing Destiny and GTA:O with the old non 3.5mm Xbox One controller!
Thanks for all your work.
Bryan
PS - is it possible to use the usbserial program in a Windows environment? The controller does not lock up in Windows.

Re: Xbox One controller with 3.5mm stereo headset jack
That command still results in a hardlock.
Thank you for your continued assistance.

Re: Xbox One controller with 3.5mm stereo headset jack
Hi Matlo, Running that command within the terminal disables the xpad driver successfully, but plugging in the controller still ends up locking up my PC (and girlfriends PC too). Do you think the Xbox One controller requires a USB 3.0 connection? The PC's that I have beenusing only have have USB 2.0 ...

Re: Xbox One controller with 3.5mm stereo headset jack
Yes the computer stops responding, and I have to hold the power button or unplug my laptop to reboot it.
I have installed libusb now along with xboxdrv and will try again to connect my Xbox One controller.

Re: Xbox One controller with 3.5mm stereo headset jack
Hi, Could you try with Linux Mint 17.3 Cinnamon 64-bit? You'll find it here: http://www.linuxmint.com/edition.php?id=204 Make sure to run it using a usb boot key (not a virtual machine). Hi Matlo, I have to apologize because I am not familiar with coding/programming and a great deal of this has me ...

Re: Xbox One chat audio
FYI I have the PDP Afterglow 9, that is a completely wireless solution (minus the usb dongle) that allows for voice chat with a connection to the controller. It was the cheapest wireless option available for the Xbox One. I purchased mine in Best Buy in America. Works great, but once (cant replicate...

Xbox One controller with 3.5mm stereo headset jack
Hi Matlo, I am currently using the "PC" Xbox One version (7MN-00001). When I get some more time I will run the seriel USB tool. I ended up borking up my OS because of that controller, trying to install the various USB drivers and whatnot. I am currently now wrestling with Ubuntu to get Gim...
