You probably replug wrong cable. Try replugging the other one.

Please make a new Windows user, login to it and test gimx there. I've encountered similar problem before.

Is your DS4 turned off when you connect it to PC?

Do you have any mouse software like Logitech Gaming Software or Razer software installed?

Please make a new windows user, log in to it and try gimx there.
