Game has mediocre input system. Even with disabled acceleration option there's a acc spike at higher speeds but in general it's fine. Check on which setting it feels better. For example I had to keep acceleration on in Battlefield V despite the option to disable it because it didn't work correctly as you describe in PUBG. This is problem for many modern games. You have to find out on which speeds the acceleration spikes occurs and then try to find a golden spot by increasing/decreasing acc and testing gameplay. Some games like Metro Exodus have even 3 acceleration spikes on the whole curve so I had to increase Deadzo...

I should also add that UAC (User account control) is not really useful as it can be bypassed by malicious software. I always disable it.
