Hi,
do you use the same parts, wiring as http://procrastineering.blogspot.de/201 ... r-for.html ?
Thx & Greetings

Hi,
Yes I'll try to keep the 8-bit AVR USB boards compatible with the latest software.
A voltage conversion is required because the PS2 pad interface operates at 0/3.3V levels.

So not exactly the same wiring ?
Thx !

Re: Quick question for ps2 support in the future
The same wiring may work, but I don't know if the PS2 tolerates 5V on the PS2 pad interface inputs.
A voltage level mismatch may damage the hardware after a while.
So it's safer not to use the exact same wiring.
The ACK and MISO signals should be converted from 0/5V levels to 0/3.3V levels.
It's either possible to use a logic level converter (< 2€, search for "5V to 3.3V converter" on ebay) or to use two voltage dividers (cost = 4 resistors). There is a voltage divider explanation here: http://gimx.fr/wiki/index.php?title=RPi ... quirements
