Hello all. I tried running a search on this but didn't notice any answer to my question before asking. If I missed it, I apologize in advance. My Google-fu has never been the best.
It seems like each device being connected a console (PS4 in my case) needs a USB adapter for Windows, correct? My keyboard has a USB hub built into it. Would I be able to use 1 usb adapter and connect my mouse to the keyboard instead? Or would each still require its own adapter and to be connected directly to the console?
USB Hub?
Re: USB Hub?
You don't need any hub at all.
GIMX stands for Game Input MultipleXer, which means it can take inputs from multiple devices and combine them into a single output controller via a DIY USB adapter or a bluetooth dongle.

Re: USB Hub?
Not sure I follow. How does it physically connect from device to console?
Re: USB Hub?
All input devices are connected to the PC.
The DIY USB adapter links the PC to the PS4.

Re: USB Hub?
So it's an in-between adapter between console and PC. That makes more sense. Thank you!
