Driving Force GT to PS4

Hey guys. Registered to ask this question. Have the old DFGT from my PS2 days and want to use it for Driveclub on the PS4. Would be super sick to not have to buy new wheels pedals etc. Bit confused. Do I HAVE to have the DIY adapter to use my wheel on the PS4, or will bluetooth suffice? I can't build electronic stuff for crap, so I'd like to be able to purchase one if necessary. Also, being on a Mac, is there a firmware or software update that I can use? Having trouble finding one. Thanks!
