PC to PC connection and send mouse input through GIMX

Like the title says, Is it possible to Connect PC 1 to PC 2 with this adapter and instead of sending controller output send mouse ouputs.
To be clear I would like the mouse in question to be connected to PC 2 which will also have the GIMX software running, send all mouse actions to PC 1 through the adapter. Also with this adapter how would PC 1 recognize the mouse? Would it see it as a standard HID device or would it be able to tell the specifics of exact mouse being used on PC 2?
