Doubts with GIMX

Post by jabidin » Thu Dec 27, 2018 3:30 pm

Hello, I have this Wheel, DFP:

I bought the web adapter:
https://blog.gimx.fr/product/gimx-adapter/

Questions::
This tutorial is correct? "spanish"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lxcuPRUaScw

Does the adapter comes without the firmware (EMUDFPPS2 - in my case)?

Tks

Adapter comes with different firmware, you need to reflash. Don't use youtube tutorials, they're outdated. We have good guide on wiki here - https://gimx.fr/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page

No need to change firmware if your target is the PS4.

Adapter comes with PS4 firmware, if you want to load other firmware however it's very easy. Just some buttons and flasher is built in gimx.

Well im not a linux expert but when I see "insufficient permissions" error I would try to run GIMX with sudo.

Also keep in mind that rPI support is experimental.
