GIMX 5.9

Post by Matlo »

This release is the last one in the 5.x series.
It is the last release to be compatible with Ubuntu 14.04 and its derivatives.
The GIMX 6.x series will be compatible with Ubuntu 16.04 and its derivatives (such as Linux Mint 18).

It fixes a bug in gimx-config #384 and an issue with GPP/Cronus/Titan One devices #385.

Hello! Thank you for all the work! How long do you expect until the first release that can run on Linux Mint 18? I just installed it but I can't use GIMX. Trying to decide if I should just wait or install a new operating system.

Hi,
No idea. You may want to try building GIMX from the refactoring branch.
