Raspberry Pi With GIMX?

Post by ploggy »

With the Pi launching a couple days ago and since the Pi uses linux as an OS. Would GIMX run on it?
It would be handy having this small device tucked away behind the PS3 rather than the Laptop :p (not that I have my PS3 tucked behind the PS3) :)

For those who don't know (where have you been lol) the Raspberry Pi is basically a Computer the size of a Credit Card.
Sporting 256MB ram/2-USB 2.0 ports/a Ethernet Port/a HDMI Port and an SD Card slot.
I should also say it's CHEAP. 25$ cheap (I'll post the full specs below)

Specs:
Broadcom BCM2835 700MHz ARM1176JZFS processor with FPU and Videocore 4 GPU
GPU provides Open GL ES 2.0, hardware-accelerated OpenVG, and 1080p30 H.264 high-profile decode
GPU is capable of 1Gpixel/s, 1.5Gtexel/s or 24GFLOPs with texture filtering and DMA infrastructure
256MB RAM
Boots from SD card, running the Fedora version of Linux
10/100 BaseT Ethernet socket
HDMI socket
USB 2.0 socket
RCA video socket
SD card socket
Powered from microUSB socket
3.5mm audio out jack
Header footprint for camera connection
Size: 85.6 x 53.98 x 17mm

So do you guy's think it would work well for GIMX?

I should point out there will be two Raspberry Pi Models available, 1 with a Ethernet port (Model B) and one without (Model A) but apparently WiFi dongles should work fine for both Model A/B.
