G920 on RPi

sorry to hijack a thread but its related to setting up a raspberry pi 
trying to get my g920 working on the pi with no luck, theres no driver support in till kernel 4.6 and atm the pis stuck on 4.4. There are drivers here http://steamcommunity.com/groups/linuxf ... 235574471/ which i have downloaded and tried to build, followed the readme but it didnt work.
is there any easy noob friendly ways to get these drivers installed or to get kernel 4.6 installed onto the pi??
