Logitech Driving Force USB (2 pedals / Axis)

Post by prz »

Hello,

Thanks for this marvellous software that gave my wheel a second youth.
I managed to make my wheel work with the LogitechDrivingForce_G29.xml config file (GT Sport on PS4) however i have some problems with the peddals.

I can accelerate but i'm not able to break.

Running gimx.exe in debug mode I discovered my peddals une only one axis for breaking et accelerating. therefore I do have :
AXIS 0 : Wheel,
AXIS 1 : GAS (and BREAKS).
no AXIS 2

In Debug mode I get :
0 1515331236.733767, gas (31812)
0 1515331236.746807, gas (32079)
0 1515331236.760886, gas (31812)
0 1515331236.769885, gas (32079)

..as default values for not accelerating nor breaking.

When breaking the value drops to :
0 1515333503.542062, wheel (1095), gas (4543)
0 1515333503.558170, wheel (1095), gas (4276)
0 1515333503.575169, wheel (1095), gas (4543)
0 1515333503.581154, wheel (1095), gas (4276)

When accelerating it rises to :
0 1515333568.964053, wheel (1095), gas (58684)
0 1515333568.976046, wheel (1095), gas (58947)
0 1515333569.093530, wheel (1095), gas (58684)
0 1515333569.103524, wheel (1095), gas (58947)

It's really strange that the peddals are using only one axis with a range from 0 to 64k with a rest point half way, opposed to the wheel and its range beetween -32k and +32k and a rest point at 0.

II can't manage to make my peddals work as every config uses 2 axis, one for breaks and one for gas.

Any help would be appreciated :)

Install the LGS software, and disable combined pedals.

Thanks for your help !

After installing the appropriate version of LGS and without changing anything in the configuration (combined pedals not activated by default), the wheel was now racognized as Driver Force GT and not Driver Force USB.
...works flawlessly now in GT Sport !

Thank you again.
