Game Input MultipleXer

Hello, I have a PS4 with G27 steering wheel. Ive installed everything correctly, the steering wheel is responsive but in mid game it just stops and gives me errors. I have to close out program and restart service. Its been usb errors something about LIB? Anyway it makes it unenjoyable cause sometimes it finishes races and sometimes it quits in the middle of one. Any ideas?

Did you turn off DS4 before connecting to PC? It will disconnect your device after some time if you won't.

Also please upload a log file so we can check the errors.

I did not disconnect it before, Ill try that. How do i save a log file?

Generate a log file: select "Messages>Log file" in gimx-launcher before starting GIMX.

if your symptoms are like this, we might have had the same issue:
1. Disconnect happens after 8 minutes of starting
2. Log shows that everything is working fine
3. Both DS4 and the wheel stop being responsive

If yes, what seemed to be the problem is my DS4 version: v1 works without disconnects, while v2 disconnects after 8 minutes. While I was searching for a solution, None provided answers worked for me, but is seems it is only present on Windows version.

Before concluding it is the DS4 version, I tried:
Turning ds4 off
Unpairing it as a BT device from PS4
Changing usb ports on PS4

I am currently too busy to finish my RPi version, but when I am done, I could confirm if the issue exists on RPi also

I have v2 and it works without disconnects. Go to ps4->Devices->Dualshock 4 ->Turn off this device. Then connect it by cable to pc and it works in my case.

About disconnect DS4 problem, you can try to disable USB Seletive suspend setting in Power Options.
