Well I need to test the ATMEGA32u4 chip that talks to the PS4 Slim. I use the generic PS4 Hex and Flip says it can verify the firmware ok after write. But it won't transmit anything. Only the receiving LED lights up. All this used to work fine on my PS3 last year.

Thanks. I bought an official GimX adapter last week but would like to troubleshoot the Tiao meanwhile while it gets here.

Open the device manager and connect both ends of the adapter to the computer.
Then run gimx-launcher and click on start.
If the adapter works correctly there should be a device appearing in the device manager.
