GIMX Adapter:
- Self-made
- USB to TTL (CP2102): https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07 ... =UTF8&th=1
- Pro Micro (ATmega32U4): https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07 ... UTF8&psc=1
- Firmware: EMUPS4, flashed via gimx-launcher (I assume latest)
Wiring:
- SIDENOTE: In the Pro Micro image, the bottom wire is white (attached to TX0). This is the same wire as the left-most black wire in the CP2102 image.
- SECOND SIDENOTE: I have tried both TXD -> TX0 + RXD -> RX1 and TXD -> RX1 + RXD -> TX0. Both have resulted in the same error in the logfile. (images are TX->TX and RX->RX because I took them after testing the switch)
- CP2102:
- Pro Micro:
Failed to read packet header from the GIMX adapter error
Re: Failed to read packet header from the GIMX adapter error
Solder the TXD/RXD/GND pins on the pro micro board.

Re: Failed to read packet header from the GIMX adapter error
Issue resolved, figured out a way I can do it without soldering the wires.
Re: Failed to read packet header from the GIMX adapter error
Keep in mind that after some time the contact may become less effective and cause connection issues.
