Bluescreen of Death

Hello! Kreindal here

With this entire COVID-19 thing going on, decided to pull out my PS4 and the Adapter that I purchased from you guys. (I was sent a replacement one and never used it, just had it in the packaging.) So I've used the WIKI and followed the Tutorial guide on how to set up the Adapter (I'm pretty sure I did everything correct!)

Version is 7.15 > Firmware I installed is EMUPS4 > Config I'm using is PS4_RainbowSixSiege_DiJu519.xml
Installed the Firmware, Installed a Config directly from the Launcher and underneath the Help > Get configs > Rainbow Six Siege for PS4 (I've tried multiple config files to see if it was just the R6S Config messing me up, and to no prevail each config I launch with it gives me a BSOD screen still)

I do the config and it says 'Config is Ok!' and then I press Start. I see a Command Prompt pop up and a few lines fill in and then I get a BSOD screen.

Error Code is kmode_exception_not_handled

I've followed all the necessary steps to my knowledge.
PS4 Controller is turned off and then I plug it in to my computer with a working cord.
Adapter is plugged into PC and PS4 Console.

Don't understand why my PC is crashing. (PC IS UP-TO-DATE)

AND when I try to create a log file I also get the Bluescreen of Death!

Hi

This could be a possible USBDK fault you could try updating it

https://github.com/daynix/UsbDk/releases/tag/v1.00-22

I would recommend that you uninstall GIMX and the current USBDK then reboot and reinstall everything
Please Remember to Post your Log file in the support section , that way its easier and faster to start identifying the issue thus helping you to sort it out so you can enjoy GIMX :D .

Really appreciate you trying to help me! Was digging through countless posts similar to my issue and found out that Matlo is working on a next update for the Adapter I believe?

Has something to due with G Hub and killing certain .exes in task manager (After I killed those programs and tried my config, it eventually worked.)

I'm happy you resolved this issue with help of LoneWolf81.

Could you tell us what steps did you perform? It could help other users with same problem.

Well i snooped around countless threads and saw that

BSoD when lghub is installed and running so I just went to Task Manager and killed LGHUB and didn't run the program, is there going to be a fix soon for this?

Cause I would love to have LGHUB open while using Gimx

I am aware UsbDk 1.00.22 fixes the BSoD. It will be included in GIMX 8.0.
