Xbox 360 Controller Spoofing Steps

Hi,

I'm trying to spoof an xbox 360 controller but I'm not sure I understand the 4 steps it shows correctly.
I run Ubuntu 11.10 32bit, v0.30 and "firmwares-360-0.30.zip" on my teensy++ 1.0.
The way I understand it is:
Connect real controller, usb uart board and teensy to PC.
Press spoof and OK.
After 2-3 seconds connect teensy to xbox??

I tried all sorts of different combinations but couldn't get it to work,
could somebody tell me what I'm doing wrong?

It's still experimental. You may have to try several times before it works. It also may not work at all, depending on your xbox controller.

It works now, or at least I get "spoof successful" with the changes from here http://forum.gimx.fr/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=486, haven't tried anything else yet.

I try to play at xbox 360 with gimx, but the Spoof button is grey... I can't press it.

I followed that tuto "http://gimx.fr/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=405".

it work on ps3 but not on 360 (I also tried with the xbox 360 firmware)

The "Spoof" button is only enabled for controller "360 pad".

As said in the GIMX 0.30 announcement, the 360 support is only available as an experimental feature for the Linux version.

I tried with linux.

now I can press the spoof button but gimx-serial do not detect the Usb to serial.

It's an other problem but I dont see the resolution on the forum...


(it's my very first time on linux)
