Hey,

Does anyone still reproduce this issue?

I just tried with Ubuntu 12.04 + PS3 4.20, and I don't have any lag.

I think the problem is when "Force updates" is on, disabling it here solved my delay problem.

Bump.

Does anyone reproduce this issue with Ubuntu 12.04 + GIMX 0.42?

If nobody does I will close issue 170.

Hi Matlo

I saw your post and did a test on my Ubuntu 12.04 computer using the same mouse/keyb./BT dongle (Bluecore4-rom) on both computers:
On Ubuntu 11.10 all is working good, but sometimes, maybe once during several hours of play, the lag becomes unplayable (3-4 sec).
Resetting the gimx-bluetooth/emu/client does not help. If I restart computer, then everything is working again.

On Ubuntu 12.04 i get 0.5 sec delay with the "Force updates" option un-checked.
With "Force Updates" option checked I get 3-4 seconds delay..

Hope this helps

Can you confirm you made your tests with GIMX 0.42 in both Ubuntu 11.10 & 12.04?

The version can be seen through the Help>About menu.

Yes.. using sixemu_0.42-1_i386.deb on both computers.

Same here, i use 12.04 as main OS and theres delay 4~5 as described and 0.5s with Force updates off.
I installed ubuntu 11.04 on Virtual Machine and theres no delay.
