Xim3

Post by uwontprevail »

I have been using GIMX for a few weeks now.

I am satisfied, but ultimately i can not play without the aim assist.

Without it my aim is just erratic and the diagonal speed is faster than x and y.

My birthday is coming up pretty soon and i have been thinking about buying a XIM3.

To anyone who has used it, what is your take on it?

Is it really that much of an improvement over GIMX?

There is probably something wrong with your setup.
You should post that problem in the support section.

I think i know what the problem is.

I have my xy ratio set to 2.0, because 2.85 is too high for me.

And i think i have gotten used to having the aim assist on.

There's no other way to get a 1:1 translation...

Maybe you should try to increase your exponents + decrease your multipliers.

Thats a good idea, ill try that out.

My exponent is set at .39, so that should be fine.

But i do need to change my deadzone back to 22, 30 seems to be overkill.

Edit: Don't get me wrong, i love GIMX, but i just need something that doesn't have to rely on a pc.

And for that fact alone ill probably get the XIM3.

But i do like the customization of GIMX much more than the xim3.

I don't like the concept behind Xim or any other tools like it.
GIMX ftw. Hehe a bit bias because I'm a supporter of having full control over the input methods.

I apologize in advance for refreshing an old thread, but what does uwontprevail mean when he says he must use Aim Assist? I have not used GIMX before, so I'll find out soon enough, but is he implying that GIMX interferes with the aim assist built into games like Call of Duty, and that he can't use GIMX because he personally needs this aim assist?

Thanks in advance.
