Non-Logitech wheel support over DirectInput (WIP)
Re: Some interesting reading regarding GIMX and DI support
Interesting results Dazza. It'll be interesting to see how the Thrustmaster fares
Re: Some interesting reading regarding GIMX and DI support
Yeah i'll get him to do it during the week.Matlo wrote:Thanks for testing
If you can test it with your friend's Thrustmaster wheels, please do it.
Might be a idea to change the thread topic. Get a few other wheel users in here running the test.
Re: Non-Logitech wheel support over DirectInput (WIP)
Hi, Is there some way to use this code trough the Cronusmax Plus (aka Titan One?), it would be great for all the people like me who uses this product.
Re: Non-Logitech wheel support over DirectInput (WIP)
The cronusmax devs do not provide an open interface to access their device.
Which means there's no way to talk to their new G29 emulation firmware.

Cronusdevs released Direct CronusMAX Plus API 4 weeks ago. It says "for those of you wanting to make your own applications"Matlo wrote:The cronusmax devs do not provide an open interface to access their device.

No idea if this gives you enough access to their device.

Re: Non-Logitech wheel support over DirectInput (WIP)
This dll+API is for Windows .NET applications.
GIMX needs the raw HID API for portability and performance reasons.
And to be honest, I don't have time for this, sorry.

Re: Non-Logitech wheel support over DirectInput (WIP)
Sadly the guys from cronusmax won´t make it happen, they wrote me this post:
Thank you for the feedback
But we've done all this already and WAY more - it's just not something we're going to fit into the CM firmware.
We have a brand new dedicated Wheel product coming out later this year.
But feel free to play with the API.

Re: Non-Logitech wheel support over DirectInput (WIP)
If I buy the TIAO GBoard and load the firmware to use GIMX, is a plug and play connection? or I have to buy something else?

Everything you need to know is on the wiki: https://gimx.fr/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page
If you have any further question, please ask in another thread.
Let's go back to the main subject.
I still need non-Logitech wheel owners to do some tests for me.

Not to take this further off topic but please do not do anything for the ChronusMax Devs. They are lying, conniving, thieving scumbags! I have it on very good authority that they blatantly stole Jefferson's idea and designs from his TitanOne to come up with their own adapter. They also ripped off your GIMX design and would have NEVER accomplished getting true FFB into the ChronusMax if it weren't for you making GIMX an open source project. Notice how long it took them to get FFB through the Logitech wheels via ChronusMax, when they had been promising this since TWO YEARS ago! They told me directly that they were working on full FFB for the CM back in 2014 lol! They have no coding skill whatsoever. All they do is ripoff other people's code and incorporate it into their ChronusMax adapter. Jefferson is currently in the middle a pending litigation suit against them and I have no doubt he will win! Do not support these slimebags! Support ONLY GIMX or the TitanOne .Matlo wrote:This dll+API is for Windows .NET applications.
