im having a hard time setting this up.
Im using the TIAO Gboard 2.0 (ordered from here http://www.diygadget.com/tiao-gimx-gboa ... board.html).
Then i got a Raspberry Pi 2 Model B.
For flashing the firmware i followed the instructions from http://www.tiaowiki.com/w/How_to_Instal ... MX_Adapter , i used 'firmwares-5.8/EMUPS4/atmega32u4.hex'.
I connected the board to the Raspberry first, then console. Started the Gimx-Launcher, it chose '/dev/TTYAMA0' as the device for the DIY USB automatically.
When i press start it only waits some time and closes window.
Calling gimx directly gave me same error message like in the following logfile :
Code: Select all
global option -l with value `log.txt'
global option -c with value `FOO.xml'
controller #1: option -p with value `/dev/ttyAMA0'

Something strange i noticed when flashing (did this on an osx system), after successfully flashing im doing a 'read' and it gives me different memory values compared to the state after executing an 'erase --force'.
When i disconnect the usb cable from the Gboard and replug it, 'read' gives me
Code: Select all
dfu-programmer: no device present.
The board looks like this (it was assembled like this when it came in the post, it said i dont have to solder or build anything anymore) :

I simply dont know where to continue, completely clueless.
Your help is appreciated, thanks!
EDIT:
I took a closer look into the manuals and found out that the button on the Gboard "activates" the bootloader. After pressing it, i was able to erase and flash the firmware to the Gboard from my RPi. But everything after that is still not working.
