Penguz, you should post in the appropriate forum section. This isn't the support section of the forum.

You probably would have see the FAQ and Pitfalls threads if you had posted in the support section.

1. Read the Pitfalls thread.
2. Using the calibration mode, set the normalized parameters, and only adjust the x multipliers.
3. If you need more help, start a thread in the support section.

There is no need to do that. GIMX gets raw (unmodified) input events.
cldfusion wrote: The only way to modify your in-game speed past 10 is to modify your config file with a hex editor. (pointer speed is just for xmb)
Are you saying that a hacked PS3 allows you to modify the in-game sensitivity past the limit? That would be very useful for games like Battlefield that have a slow max turning speed! Do you have any tutorial link?

Oh yeah, my bad about the settings.
You don't even need a hacked ps3 to do it.=) On MW2, you can just copy your config file to usb, and edit the parameter for aim speed from like 10-30 or something, but it's not linear, 12 is about fast enough for practical use. As far as i know it hasn't been patched. tuts r probably all over.
*hopefully mw3 doesn't encrypt the config files too.

I'd be careful even though it doesn't require a hacked PS3. I can guarantee you that in some disclaimer, be it from Sony or Infinity Ward, it says you're not allowed to modify any files. It's modding, and people have been known to get the ban hammer for it on a technicality, unfortunately. The downside of consoles :\

It still would be a nice trick for single-player campaigns :)

Backup the config file, hex edit it, play the single player campaign, and restore the config file. I guess there's no risk to be banned for that.

Yup, it's highly unlikely that they log something like that offline.

Config 1
x 31/18.05/0.40
y 31/22.57/0.40

Config 2
x 34/6.84/1
x 34/8.55/1
I tried to mess with Matlo's config though the aim is not as smooth as I want it to be, especially when ads or sniping - so jerky
Anyone have suggestions?

My setup: Ubuntu+BT, Mice G500(5700DPI) @ 500MHz
Config 1
x 40/18/0.40
y 40/22/0.40
Config 2
x 42/30/0.40
y 42/37/0.40

You dead zone and multipliers are quite high. Are you sure your are running your G500 at 5700DPI?
5700DPI is not the default value, you have to use the setpoint software from logitech to set that value.

My own parameters:

Config 1:
x 31/9/0.40/Circle
y 31/11.25/0.40/Circle

Config 2:
x 31/15/0.40/Circle
y 31/18.75/0.40/Circle

Yes I'm sure I'm using 5700DPI, as you said changed it via setpoint.
I will try your conf and report back.
