use 2 teensys instead of uart and teensy?

I have two teensys and no uart device. I am not much of a hardware guy, but I thought a teensy can act as a uart device as well.
Just curious if anyone has done this already? Can anyone show me or point me in the right direction for this?

Paul Stoffregen (creator of the Teensy devices) has done it already:

There's also an example in the LUFA project by Dean Camera:

I think using a Teensy as a USB to UART adapter may result in a higher latency.

Thanks for the links. I will give it a shot. I have one coming but it is slow as a snail to get here. I hate ordering things from China. At least when they send it on the cheap. I would pay 5 bucks to have it shipped normally if they offered that, but no one does.
