Fresh to the forums and....
im hoping you guys might be able to help me find a way using the GIMX and a RPi to make my PS4 think other flight sticks are the thrustmaster T4 for ps4, as it is a very low quality controller and the only licensed stick and therefore possessing ps4 authentication
I have the T4 and a T16000m currently
I have not bought a RPi or the GIMX yet
Open to suggestions on which to buy if this is possible
Any help is appreciated
Thanks for your time

Hi
Moved your topic to the GIMX Discussion session
GIMX can take any input device and emulate a Dualshock 4 you will only have to map out your config in the config editor to get your axis mapped.

Re: using GIMX and RPi to make ps4 think T.16000M FCS is thrustmaster T4
What I am trying to explain is there is no firmware that will emulate the Thrustmaster T4 on GIMX the only way you can make it work is taking the Dualshock 4 firmware and config and map your Thrustmaster T4 in the config.
There is no firmware for the Thrustmaster T4 or any other flight sticks that will emulate them like the G29/27 Wheel Firmware so the only option is the Dualshock 4 firmware with a custom config.

It should be possible to map them and make it work, will also see if I can get Matlo to look at your questions and give his opinion.

Thanks
The T4 has a firmware of its own
I tried updating it to get rid of the "drift" on the twist axis on the stick
Only to get "ghost" inputs from other places on the stick
Which thrustmaster wont fix or support

Currently the only way to use your T16000m with your PS4 using GIMX is to emulate a Dualshock 4.
Any button/axis from your T16000m can be mapped to any Dualshock 4 button/axis.
Adding a new firmware for emulating a T4 is not planned.
