Hey there peoples :) I have been using gimx for about 5 months now on ubuntu and i am considering moving onto a new distro (i'm thinking arch) has anyone tried GimX on alternate distros and have there been any noticeable performance changes / improvements. and before i get challenged i know there is no official support for distro's other than ubuntu but i want to experiment a little and find something to support my everyday needs aswell as my gimx needs :)

Thanks in advance,
Onsight.

I'm using Linux Mint 15 Cinnamon. It's based on Ubuntu.

Took your advice on running mint rather than arch but it seems the installation process is different, EG. software sources ect. could you maybe post a little help or tutorial? <3
