Make sure you are plugging the Dual shock into a USB 2.0 port and NOT a 3.0 or higher port. I had the same problem and this fixed it for me.

I had the same error and after an 1hr of trouble shooting discovered if I have the DS4 plugged into a USB 3.0 port it WILL NOT WORK. If I plug it into a USB 2.0 port everything is fine. With the G25 it does not seem to matter if I have it plugged into USB 2.0 or 3.0 it works fine either way. Hope th...
