Ok. So I bought the G500 today and set the dpi in windows to the three memory slots and rebooted into linux and it seems ok. Currently I have the mouse polling rate set to 2 (250hz) should I bump this up? I went to change it again using gksudo gedit /etc/modules and now it won't let me save for some...

Well I haven't purchased it yet but I am about to in then next hour. I was looking at the cmstorm Sentinel with a 5700 DPI ** I am since looking at the g500 from logitech as I see you suggest it in the FAQ.
