Could you type "cat /proc/bus/usb/devices" in a terminal, post the result on pastebin, and give the link?

I guess you are using a bluetooth dongle. It can't run faster than 100Hz.

With a DIY USB adapter you could run at 250Hz (with a mouse at 500Hz).

You can override the polling rate. I already tested with a cheap 800 DPI mouse, and it worked.

I think it's possible to transmit audio over the serial port. But this is too much work for me right now.
