The COM## should be detected by itself in that drop down list and not changed, you should only need to select a config. It's not always the case. The last COM port is default selected. It may not be the right one if there is another COM port with a number higher than the number of the CP2102. Just ...

It won't work without modifying the source code.
You need to modify emuclient.c to make it read an ip address, and call tcp_connect and tcp_send at the right places.
You also need to add tcp_con.o to the emuclient dependencies in the Makefile.

Using a cheap 400dpi mouse is not recommended. Such values (high acceleration) are not really recommended.
I suggest you to buy a gaming mouse (5700+dpi, like the G500) and use normalized values. It's worth the price.
