I think it should work for PS4 games but not for PS5 games as they do require the new controller. What I will do is when mine arrives I will test it and report back here.

It would have made no difference if the PS4 was off during the install. The USBDK Libraries will be listed under programs and features if you remove it you have to restart before installing it again as for the UART and Arduino drivers in the GIMX8 directory under program files you will see a tools f...

Nowhere did you state you were using it via remote play that's a different scenario. Also from memory I think you are using CH340 based uart boards try with CP2104 they detect faster and are far better quality as most CH340 boards are cheap clones.
