Re: Some interesting reading regarding GIMX and DI support
In the meantime, since I'm here stuck at work and bored, there is something I am curious about with this new beta....when attempting to use my Bodnar wheel, will the PS4 continue to see the GIMX adapter as a Logitech wheel? If the answer if yes, then where will the console tell the forces to go? Won...

Re: Some interesting reading regarding GIMX and DI support
The following effects will be supported first: constant spring damper I added support for these effects in the GIMX input library. It works fine with my Logitech wheel, but it would be more interesting to test it against non-Logitech wheels. Do you currently own a DI-compatible non-Logitech wheel? ...

Re: Output to a virtual USB port
Interesting post. I would like to know what happens if you have the adapter plugged into your PC as normal.....then take the *other* end of the adapter(the part that plugs into the PS4 console) loop it around and plug it back into the same PC while GIMX is running....would the PC then see the adapte...

Re: Some interesting reading regarding GIMX and DI support
No problem. There is a lot of good information in there. I know the guys over at vJoy are desperate to get FFb working in an intuitive fashion so I believe there's a common interest there. Shaul and Trafiken are pretty good at understanding FFB. Jackun is fairly knowledgeable as well. Racer_S is on ...

Re: Some interesting reading regarding GIMX and DI support
No worries, I know the exact people you should talk to. The first guy's name is Shaul and he's the guy behind vJoy. Shaul is very knowledgeable when it comes to spoofing ffb into apps. He has been able to make vJoy support FFB through something called feeders. There is a very educational thread on f...

Re: Some interesting reading regarding GIMX and DI support
NO WAY man! Wait are you serious?!??!?!?!?! So you're saying with this new discovery, you'll be able to make GIMX support all DI FFB wheels, and you no longer require our wheel's protocols to make it work, and we no longer need to own or have a Logitech wheel? So I can use my Leo Bodnar FFB wheel to...

Re: Logitech Driving Force EX support
Ahh I see what you mean. OK I get it now. That is good news then, because I can confirm that the Driving Force and Driving Force EX wheel share just about the same architecture and circuitry, and I'm fairly confident the FFB will be supported on the EX. I just wanna finally play Ridge Racer 7 with a...
