PS4 Remote Play & GimX

Will there be any support to use GimX with remote play?
I have tried using the diy adapter normally with remote play but after hitting the assigned ps button after a few seconds the app disconnects from the PS4 before it does though I do have a few seconds where keyboard inputs are recognised in remote play.
I then tried hooking up a second DS4 and attempted to use the gimx adapter as 2nd control... this had the same effect as before.
I then booted my laptop up and ran the gimx adapter from the ps4 to the laptop, booted up the pc and used that for remote play (both machines had a ds4 plugged in), whilst inside remote play it did the same as my first step and worked for a few seconds before the remote play application disconnected.

Is there anyway to have gimx run a control into remote play?

If not is there any plans to bring in this functionallity?

I can just move the PS4 to my computer table and plug it into the monitor which of course eliminates the need for remote play but having this added functionallity would make set ups much more veritile.
