Hi drivgimp,

Sorry, I was away this weekend.

So you have already installed the firmware on the board, is this right?

The error you are getting about the USB not being detected, maybe you haven't installed the drivers to detect the CP2102. Remember that, after uploading the firmware to the board, you plug that to the PS4 and then CP2102 to the PC.

Check that you have installed the drivers of the CP2102.

No problem mate, check those drivers. When plug in the CP2102, even alone, should show up on your pc. But you have to install the drivers eventually.

CP210x drivers won't work with a PL2303 board.

Pretty much what happened to me the first time, I had to get exactly what is explained in the tutorial to make it work. Good thing that these parts are cheap.

Yeah, look for it on ebay, the ship all this stuff from China anyway, so that wont be a problem. I live in Canada and the shipping time was like 3 weeks and I had to do this twice, because I ordered the wrong board the first time lol.

So go safe and get exactly what is in the tutorial, or what I have posted on this thread as well.

ok it all seems to be working but instead comes up with this error log:

global option -l with value `log.txt'
global option -c with value `LogitechDrivingForceGT_G29_W10.xml'
controller #1: option -p with value `COM4'
now reading arguments for controller #2
status flag is set
subpos flag is set
force_updates flag is set

Check the wiring (maybe you swapped Rx and Tx?).
gimx.c:208 SDL_main: no adapter detected

any ideas?

ive tried swapping rx tx etc but no luck

nevermind ive decided to buy a t150 I can pick it up decently cheap.

I didn't want to spend 250+ on the t300 and assumed it was the only decent option.

but reviews of the t150 lead to believe it will as good as the DFGT at least and at that price I don't mind.
