Will GIMX work on PS5?

I think it should work for PS4 games but not for PS5 games as they do require the new controller. What I will do is when mine arrives I will test it and report back here.

We will begin investigating PS5 protocol when it arrives. I already pre-ordered it.

I've been scouring the internet since the American launch and closest I've found is info on Drivehub which I assume works in a similar way.

Apparently it works fine for a few mins then disconnects like as if you dont have a DualShock connected.

Kind of gutting as really dont want to buy a new wheel for the PS5

Had only been looking as I had a horrible feeling it might not work out the box. Just thought I’d share what I’d heard about drivehub as presumably similar

Matlo got an xbox and he's testing it. Im waiting for my PS5.

GIMX seems to work as DualShock 4 on PS5 without any issues (no disconnects etc).
I haven't tested any other modes like racing wheel emulation, but DS4 seems fine.
