Power On/PS Button Question

I recently tried out GIMX with a usb dongle and was excited to see it work while the system was on. However while the system was in standby (red light), I couldn't power it on by pressing the PS button from GIMX. I'm guessing this is due to using USB. Can anyone confirm that they've been able power on their PS3 using GIMX to send the PS button command and bluetooth?

GIMX can only power on the PS3 over bluetooth.

Thank you for confirming that and for your work on GIMX, Matio. If it helps anyone reading this, I ordered the following bluetooth dongle from Amazon and had no problems configuring it with GIMX: "ORICO BTA-402 USB Bluetooth 4.0 Micro Adapter Dongle Mini Bluetooth 4.0 Adapter Dongle With CSR8510 Controller and CSR Harmony for Windows XP Vista 2003 2008 7 and 8 32 or 64 Bit".
