Hi All!

Im very new to this.. just about got to grips with the USB Adapter and what it does.

Just wondering if it will allow me to use my G920 on the ps4?

If not, will there be support within the next 2 years?? For now xbox seems to have the better racing games ie. Forza Motorsport 6, Horizon 2 etc.. only when Gran Turismo 7 comes out on the playstation will I have a real need for a gaming wheel on the ps4.

Here's me hoping I dont have to buy another wheel :D

Thanks everyone!

Hi,

This is not possible yet.
This is not at the top of my task list, therefore it may take some time before I have a look at it.

Hi, I´m a new user and also a G920, xbox one, ps4 and a cronusmax PLUS owner, I found GIMX because I recently discovered the new full ffb support for G25 and G27 for PS4, but cronusmax guys won´t add support for the G920, besides It will be an awesome solution for xbox one, ps4 and PC, have you managed to add support for this model on PS4?

Sadly there's nothing to say about this. No update at all.

cronusmax kind of has g920 support since there newest fw update, the g920 will work on the ps4 and you will even get wheel weight so it's very usable, but no ffb support.
matlo could possibly get the g920 to function in the same way. but sadly as matlo has said to me before the g920 pc ffb protocols are different than the g29/27 etc and would need to be reversed engineered.

need someone to help him reverse it :) i'm assuming you need to get the hid++ protocols are and convert them to the classic ffb protocols. not sure.

GIMX already has support for joysticks, which means it can get inputs from the G920.

yeah but i believe the cronusmax guys have emulated it to look like a g29 (*accidentally) so you can adjust wheel rotation, there's actually the ffb type weight while turning. just does not have any other ffb support.
(*the g920 wasn't actually meant to be a working device, but whatever they done to get the g27/g25 to work managed to get partial g920 support, because of this i believe they will never try to actually try to get the ffb to work)

also i noticed your posts in the DI support thread, is your work you're doing getting constant, spring damper etc effects working, going to get the g920 working or is that a completely different thing.

GIMX is able to emulate a G29. And there is no restriction for the input devices. The restriction is for the output devices, as FFB reports can only be understood by Logitech wheels (but sadly not the G920).

DI support will most probably bring FFB support for the G920, with some limitations. The wheel range will have to be adjusted using the manufacturer's management software.

Is the G920 fully supported for PS4+GIMX now, full FFB?

Yes, the G920 is supported since GIMX 6.0.
