Mouse movements are not smooth

Post by reborn1337 »

Hey, i got the same problem. I used a Buffer of 2 and a Filter of 1, didnt change the behaviour.
This feels like theres a problem with the refresh rate..

My config looks like this, maybe you can help me out once again.. :P
Feels like its lagging, very stuttery. Dont know if thats what you understand about "jitter".

Thanks for your help again.
Im using a 2300 dpi mouse (zowie ec2 evo) and tried it with the game Destiny. When im using the 2300dpi mode, its refresh rate is 1000hz. Is this a problem?

I used usbhid mousepoll=4 and rebootet my RPI3.

Hi,

The calibration page of the wiki may be helpful:
https://gimx.fr/wiki/index.php?title=Mouse_Calibration

Also, there may be performance issues due to the RPi.
You may try upgrading the firmware as suggested here:

Hey Matlo,

i tried the calibration in curse output.
I followed the instructions on the side you listened.

As i understood, dead deadlock settings should be the same for everybody playing the same game?

I set mouse acc and all that stuff according to that page, then i set Buffer 1 and Filter 2 but didn't change anything.

I upgraded the raspberry when i set up the software but instead installed
firmware version 771a503cfc2a1130e2df2a4ddfc45ffa0f592b3f like you wrote in the instruction page.

But still.
Is the problem that im running GUI Mode?
Low load of 0.17 and around 700MB of memory free.

Best regards,

Acceleration does not look calibrated.
Try the PS4_Destiny_Cybereu.xml config from the config repository (Help>Get configs in gimx-launcher).

I tried both ways, just downloading the config and also using "auto-bind and convert" but still the stutter is there.

I cant be the only one with these problems, geez.
Thanks for your help so far, really appreciate it.

Always this glimpse of hope :D

Anyone any further advice or idea?

Did you try with a PC? This would tell if it's a RPi issue.
