Error: Dependency is not satisfiable: libwxbase2.8-0 (>= 2.8

Error: Dependency is not satisfiable: libwxbase2.8-0 (>= 2.8.11.0)

I get this error every time I attempt to install the sixemu package.
I searched for libwxbase2.8-0 and downloaded/installed this one:
http://packages.debian.org/squeeze/i386 ... 0/download
When that one hit an error and needed a dependent file, I searched for it and came up with this one
http://packages.debian.org/squeeze/libdirectfb-1.2-9
Installed THAT one, didn't need any dependencies, went back and sucessfully installed libwxbase2.8-0, etc, etc. Then I came back to the sixemu package and it still said I didn't have libwxbase2.8-0 .

So.... What do? This is beginning to look like more trouble than it is worth for the price of playing PS3 games on a mouse+keys setup.


If any of this info is of any help to whoever knows a solution, here ya go...
OS: Ubuntu 10.04 (Long Term Support).
PC: Dell Latitude D410.
60GB Hard Drive.
Intel Pentium M.

Simple answer quoted from the FAQ:

• Installation fails, some library dependencies are not satisfiable, what can I do?
  Your Ubuntu version is probably not up-to-date. Try to upgrade!

Upgrading to 10.10, then to 11.04, when it's finished I'll post back and see if it works.

Now running Ubuntu version 11.04 .

NOW, for the moment of truth....

Sucessful. Installed. Now off to play some call of duty like it was MEANT to be played, with a keyboard and mouse!
