Arduino- no new port found?

Post by pretovic »

Hi, I have a problem with hex uploading to Arduino Leonardo. I do everything according to the instructions, but when I click COM it shows me "no new port found". I tried to reset and unplug the cable.

Hi,
Using gimx-loader requires to have the USB to UART board to be wired correctly (to your Aduino Leonardo) and to be connected to a computer. Are both conditions fulfilled?

USB to UART must be connected to Arduino? When trying to upload hex in Arduino Builder? I did it according to this instruction:

It is written in this manual:
The following message should appear: "Forcing reset using 1200bps open/close on COMX...".
-Quickly unplug/replug the atmega32u4 board, or connect RST to GND twice.
but it shows me
no new port found

I advise you to make the wiring and to use gimx-loader instead. Arduino Builder was dropped from the official instructions because it is buggy.

Thank you, everything works. I have one more question.
Is it possible to connect the xbox one controller to ps4 as a second player? The first player then uses the ps4 controller which is connected to PC.

Sadly this is not possible. The Dualshock 4 is used to authenticate, and it cannot be used as a second controller at the same time.

The rule is one Dualshock 4 per player.
