Aiming is not constant, and changes based on speed, HELP (PUBG)

Post by mrprissy167 »

I am a complete beginner at this.

Wired from Xbox One to laptop
GimX Adapter bought from the GimX shop.
Firmware: 5.8/EMUXONE/atmega32u4.hex
PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds
Xbox One Controller (no 3.5mm jack)
Razer DeathAdder 6400 dpi
Laptop keyboard

I am trying to play PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds on Xbox One using my
mouse and keyboard. I am using the config XOne_PUBG_lekken from the
GimX website. When I move my mouse fast, the crosshair moves a very short
distance. When I move it slow, it moves a very far distance. I have read the
FAQ's but the instructions to fix this were unclear. I do not know if the
issue is with the acceleration or dead zone or what. I just want the aim
to be constant, and I know how to adjust the sensitivty to my liking. My
settings on pubg are the highest sensitivity and I have aim acceleration
disabled. Do I need to set the dead zone or aim acceleration to something
specific in game? Please help me as this is very frustrating.

Use the calibration tool to adjust the parameters: https://gimx.fr/wiki/index.php?title=Mouse_Calibration

I tried doing this, but I really don't know how to fix my specific issue. I felt that the instructions were unclear, so I would like help for what I am supposed to do.

It is not always possible to get close to a PC feeling due to the game input mechanics. First reason is that there is a max turning speed due to the mouse to stick translation. There is no way to get faster than this. Make sure to set the in-game sensitivity to the highest value. Second reason is that almost each game has its own look mechanics (like dead zone and acceleration) that are intended to help playing with a gamepad. For some games it is easy to compensate, for some other it's not.
