How to adjust the wheel range in GimX

Post by HoiHman »

Hi i have GimX running on a second PC and will be using it for the Forza / Forza Horizon games on my race PC.

My Steering wheel is a SimXperience AccuForce. I want to have a steering range of 500 degrees and i have configured the AccuForce as a 500 degree wheel (on the laptop which it's connected to)

I have set GimX to emulate the G27 and have installed logitech gaming software on my (target) game PC.

I have assigned the axis, but the dialog box tells me to adjust my wheel range to 200 degrees.
What do i need to change in GimX to make it send out a 500 degrees range to my gaming PC.

I looked in the config, wiki and forum but can't seem to find the right answer.

Thx.

Edit:

I just noticed that if i click the properties in "USB game controllers" the range is set to 500 degrees, followed by a waring:

- skipped unsupported command SET_DEFAULT_SPING

GIMX receives the wheel range command from the game. Did you try changing the wheel range in the game?
